Hybrid Close Loop Cooling Towers вђ Spx Marley Dystrybutor Techvap Make sure that cold water suction screens are clear and properly installed. fill the water system to an approximate depth of 7′′ (178 mm) in the depressed area of the cold water basin at the center of the tower. for models nc8307 through nc8312 fill the water system to an ap proximate depth of 8′′ (203 mm). The pipework can be connected directly to the cooling tower basin or the supply pipework, near the tower connection, that is feeding the water cooled chillers with the conditioned water, and will be controlled by a water conductivity sensor, that is monitoring the water quality in the pipework serving the chillers.
Cooling Tower Piping Layout And Diagrams Constructandcommission Install pipe support q74 on to the stud bolts protruding from the fan deck as shown in figure 1 8a. prior to installation of single inlet fan deck piping q63 or q64, clean outside of pipe and inside rubber boot protruding from the fan deck. then apply a thin layer of sealer z11 to inside of rubber boot. Install belts on the lowest set of grooves. slide the motor assembly away from fan shaft and to remove belt slack and install bolts in tower cross beams. do not tighten at this time. install the 6′′ all thread bolt on the motor plate and adjusting clip as shown in the assembly details and figure 3. Prior to placement of the tower, confirm that the supporting platform is level, and that the anchor bolt holes are correctly located in accordance with marley drawings. page 7 installation 7. repeat steps 2 and 3 for 2nd top section on nc8411 through nc8414 models. 8. repeat steps 4 through 7 for any remaining cells.
