Dd52 03 Tjibatu 19th July 1973 Train Tasikmalaya Locomotive Dd52 mallet tender locomotive. dd5203 has stopped at tjipeundeuy between cibatu and tasikmalaya on 28th april 1973. the station building conveniently hides the rest of the train which consisted of three box vans and an open wagon! (rg collection). Lokomotif dd 52 memiliki julukan "si gombar" dari masyarakat lokal jawa barat yang selalu dilewati oleh lokomotif ini. dengan ukurannya yang besar dan tenaganya yang kuat, tugas utama dd52 adalah menarik kereta barang yang melintasi pegunungan priangan. walaupun begitu, lokomotif ini juga difungsikan sebagai penarik kereta penumpang.

Pnka No Dd52 03 Tjibatu To Tasikmalaja Train 19th July 1973ођ Pnka dd52 03, malangbong, 19th july 1973 pnka dd52 class 2 8 8 0 mallet no. dd52 03 is en route from tjibatu totasikmalaja with a short freight train though there are plenty of passengers on board. despite the apparent hard work, the train is just entering the station area at malangbong, to be met by a crowd of people. It is carrying a hanomag worksplate declaring it to be works number 10222 of 1923, which according to the record books should be dd52 02. on closer examination of the rather crudely painted on running number, older numbers can be seen beneath the paint which do apparently show the loco as dd52 02 photo taken at tjibatu on thursday 19th july. Dd52 class 2 8 8 0 mallet no. dd52 03 seemed to be the only serviceable engine of its class and is here being prepared to take a train along the main line from tjibatu to tasikmalaja. watched by some of the local population, the engine casts a cloud of oily smoke over the surroundings before eventually moving off shed. thursday 19th july 1973.
