Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. combine flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl. whisk together. set aside. if you want to toast your pecans you can put them in the oven for a few minutes on a cookie sheet or toast them in a skillet on the stove. i opted to skip the step.

Instructions. in a large bowl, cream the unsalted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract and salt. add in the all purpose flour and mix on low speed until the dough becomes crumbly. add in the finely chopped pecans and toffee bits and mix on low speed until the cookie dough forms. divide the cookie dough in half.
