33 Double Thickness Sewing Pattern Carolaameliya The pieces are too long to cut on 45" which i have for the muslin. what i don't get is the instruction in the cutting and marking section. *double thickness (without fold) for fabrics with nap, fold fabric crosswise, right sides together. mark as shown. cut along crosswise fold on fabric . turn upper layer 180 so arrows go in same direction. The layout image shows selvage one one side and selvage on the opposite (parallel) side of the rectangle, but the perpendicular sides are just shown as a line, not the fold as usual (on one side). and it just says double thickness without further clarification. i've taken a photo of both the pattern instructions and also the fabric i'm working on.
